The Sun Prairie Fire Department and members of Sun Prairie Police & EMS will be hosting a 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2018 at 7:30 a.m. at Fire Station #1, located at 135 N. Bristol Street. "On this day we will remember all the civilians and public servants who made the ultimate sacrifice that horrible day," remarked Sun Prairie Fire Chief Chris Garrison. "We will also honor all public servants who we have lost in the line of duty, including our own loss of Captain Cory Barr." All who would like to honor, are welcome to join this short ceremony as the community continues to keep the promise to “Never Forget” what occurred on Sept. 11, 2001, when terrorists crashed jumbo jet aircraft into the World Trade Center towers in New York City, the Pentagon in Washington DC and while bound for The White House, into a field at Shanksville, Pa.
