VIDEO: Seven years ago the idea to remember the 9/11 victims with a silent march in Marathon, was thought of by Craig Prihoda. "Probably the reason I became a firefighter. It just hit home a lot, obviously in our country tragedies are happening more than we'd like to see even today," said Marathon Firefighter Craig Prihoda. After being inspired to join the force, Prihoda brought an idea to the department that would help to remember the fallen first responders. "This event just always resonated with me. I think it was 7 years ago. Just coming up on this date and it always meant a lot to me. I joined the department and I just thought you know we should do something small. I contacted a couple members, and Mike, and our chief, and thought it was a good idea and did the walk up the hill," Prihoda added.
