A Green Bay Metro Fire Station suffered severe flood damage during Monday night's storms. "Our Fire Station 5 suffered major flooding, rendering the building uninhabitable," said Fire Chief David Litton. The station on Finger Road is expected to be closed for a lengthy period of time while repairs are being done. "We don't know how long the building will be in the condition that it is in." Fire Chief Litton says in the meantime, crews will remain in the area and will be able to provide emergency assistance to residents of that neighborhood and it will not affect the emergency service in that area. "How long it will take for cleanup and how long it will take for power to be restored, we do not have answers at this point. It could be several days, it could be several weeks before we can use it again."
