Police and fire crews are investigating the cause of a fire that damaged a home in the 500 block of Waupaca Street Monday night. The Fremont Fire Department responded to the scene shortly after 9 p.m., according to a statement from the Fremont Police Department. The fire department was able to extinguish the fire shortly after arrival, according to police.
