The Marshall Fire Department is hanging an American flag over firefighter Luis Acosta's locker until his return from military deployment. According to a Facebook post, the flag will remain over his locker to remind others of his "sacrifice to our country to ensure our everyday freedoms." Acosta has been with the Marshall Fire Department since 2016. Acosta will be leaving in March after training to go to the Middle East for a year. "Brother Acosta your MFD brothers and sisters would like to wish you a safe and quick return from your military deployment," the post said.
