A Sun Prairie family was displaced after a garage fire spread to the house, sending two people to the hospital Tuesday evening. According to Dane County dispatch, Sun Prairie firefighters responded to the scene of a structure in the 600 block of Musket Ridge Drive in Sun Prairie around 9 p.m. Tuesday. The call reported a garage on fire. Sun Prairie Assistant Fire Chief Bill Sullivan said crews found fire coming from the garage and spreading to the house upon arrival. The fire was upgraded to a second box alarm to call additional departments to assist at the scene. The three residents were able to get out of the house and garage at the time of the fire, according to a release.
