Hurricane-force winds were estimated in parts of those storms that blasted through the region Tuesday, and the damage was widespread in parts of Putnam and Cabell Counties. Now, one family in Culloden is without a home for a second time this year, first losing their townhouse in a massive fire in April. Call it a guardian angel or just plain luck: Ally Clark says someone or something is looking out for her family. “It just seems like there’s one thing after another that keeps happening,” Clark said. Clark, a wife and mother of three, says a massive fire tore through their townhouse in Milton in April. Everyone survived, but their belongings went up in flames. "We lost everything,” she sighed.
