Multiple departments responded to a house fire in Harrison County Saturday afternoon. It happened around 2:30 in the afternoon on Illinois Avenue in Nutter Fort Crews arrived to find a working fire at the home with smoke pouring from the roof. No injuries were reported from the fire, and at least one pet was seen escaping from the house. The roof of the building collapsed during the fire, and officials said the house is a total loss. No word yet on a cause, but fire officials said the state fire marshal will be investigating.
