Multiple local fire departments are joining together this weekend to support a fellow firefighter who is battling colon cancer. The departments are holding a boot drive Saturday to assist firefighter Lt. Brian Golliday with the South Berkeley Volunteer Fire Department in Inwood. The boot drive will be held in multiple locations throughout Berkeley County from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. South Berkeley Volunteer Fire Department (company 20) can be found in Inwood; Back Creek Valley Volunteer Fire Company (Company 50) will be set up at the top of Mountain Apple Harvest Drive and Buck Hill Road; and Baker Heights Volunteer Fire Department (Company 60) will be set up at exit 12 southbound on and off ramps.
