A fire destroyed a mobile home located off John Nash Boulevard Wednesday evening. Lt. Tyler Pendleton with the Glenwood-Green Valley Fire Department said firefighters arrived to find the mobile home fully engulfed with flames. “The trailer was way to compromised to push inside,” Pendleton said. “Mobile homes burn really fast, we are talking a matter of three or four minutes and the thing is pretty much gone.” The structure was a complete lose. A full investigation on the cause of the fire will be conducted by the fire department. There were no reported injuries caused by the fire. Green Valley was joined at the scene by the Bluewell and Bluefield fire departments as well as the Bluefield Rescue Squad.
