Firefighters responded to a fire in downtown Logan Monday morning. The fire happened at a four-story apartment complex in the 400 block of Stratton Street at around 9 a.m. Crews cleared the scene about an hour later at about 10:15 a.m. and were fighting the fire again just after noon. According to the City of Logan Fire Department, the building was significantly damaged, but was already run down. Logan police say the building was vacant and people unlawfully occupying the building has been an issue there. There was no power to the building when the fire began. One firefighter was taken to the hospital with a dislocated shoulder. The cause of the fire is being investigated as suspicious.
