Brave Fire Leader Online Training Scholarships

The National Volunteer Workforce Solutions program for Inclusion and Diversity is offering scholarships for 25 volunteer or paid on-call/hourly members from combination and volunteer fire departments to participate in the Brave Fire Leader Online Academy. To be eligible, you must be a volunteer or paid on-call/hourly. Career personnel are not eligible for this scholarship.

This hybrid self-paced and cohort training provides a flexible but structured pace to help volunteer members fast track their leadership success. Participants will learn how to develop a flexible leadership style to engage and develop the members of their teams. They will also learn how to use the skills they have to prevent people problems and improve the impact of their job performance. Participants will complete six to seven online classes a month and participate in bi-monthly Zoom calls to enhance the learning experience. All participants will be matched with Accountability Partners to maximize success and provide a unique networking experience.
