Scappoose Rural Fire District & Columbia River Fire and Rescue

Salary Range: $120,000-$140,000
Scappoose Fire District is seeking a qualified fire professional to serve as the District’s Fire Chief.
Scappoose Fire District consists of a 52 square mile fire protection area and 100 square mile ambulance service area. The Fire District services approximately 13,500 residents. There are 25 volunteers, 12 career, 2 single role paramedics and 6 administrative staff.
The Fire Chief for Scappoose is also the Fire Chief to Columbia River Fire and Rescue.
Columbia River Fire and Rescue serves approximately 200 square miles of Columbia County, Oregon and services approximately 27,000 residents. City of St. Helens, Columbia City, and the City of Rainer reside within its borders. CRF&R operates out of 7 stations, 30 volunteers, 36 career, 2 single role paramedics and 9 admin staff. Both Districts providing fire, rescue, and ALS/BLS ambulance transport services.
