Tillamook Fire District is actively seeking to hire a Fire Chief. Tillamook Fire is a Fire Protection District governed by a Five (5) person Board of Directors. The Fire Chief reports directly to the Board of Directors. The Fire District covers approx. 97 square miles of Oregon Coast and Coastal Mountain vicinity, consisting of Hwy. 101 and Hwy 6 coverage.
The Fire Chief is supported by three (3) Career personnel and forty (40+) Volunteers, operating out of three (3) stations in the delivery of Fire Suppression, EMS (w/Hospital operated Ambulance Service), Swift water rescue, Rope Rescue, Public Education and Strong Public Relations.
