The City of Corvallis is seeking to fill the position of Battalion Chief. Corvallis is ideally positioned in Oregon to take advantage of all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. The Battalion Chief will organize and manage daily operations of fire department emergency and non-emergency service delivery. Command and coordinate emergency resources at fire, EMS, hazmat, and rescue incidents. Ensure department readiness through personnel development and training. Develop and manage operational programs. Supervises and manages shift personnel and volunteers. These tasks are illustrative only and may include other related duties.
