Salary range $3,806- $4,669/month plus excellent benefit package. Department staff 4 FTE and approximately 40 volunteers. Seeking full-time skilled professional to plan and participate in fire prevention education programs. Conduct inspections and assists with commercial plan review. Maintains required records, reports and performs related work as required assists in the operation and maintenance of the fire department, including but not limited to responding to all calls for service. Essential Responsibilities include: Basic concepts in fire prevention methods to include, introductory knowledge of Oregon Fire Code, Oregon Building Code. The City desires someone who can work with minimal supervision, work well with the public and be a good leader. Applicants are required to have an Oregon DL, current Oregon EMT license and minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Fire service to demonstrate they can satisfactorily perform the job functions.
