FULL-TIME FLEET SUPERVISOR

Fleet Supervisor:
The Fleet Supervisor provides supervision and manages fleet operations for maintaining Authority equipment, vehicles/apparatus, and tools by repairing, troubleshooting and performing preventative maintenance. This includes performing and coordinating work on engines, ambulances, brush trucks, staff/command vehicles, and all fire/rescue vehicles/equipment; determining schedules, sequences and assignments for work activities, based on priority, quantity of work, and skill of staff. Person hired will need to supply many of their own tools.

Work Schedule: 40 hour a week schedule, plus occasional emergency assistance after hours, weekends and holidays
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must have the following minimum qualifications*
1. High school diploma or GED
2. Five (5) years of experience preferably with emergency vehicle or heavy equipment capacity
3. Valid Colorado Class B Commercial Driver’s License with Air Brake Endorsement
4. Department of Transportation Aire Brake Inspector certification (ability to obtain in 12 months)
5. Automotive Services Excellence Certification
6. Emergency Vehicle Technician Certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months of employment)
Preferred Qualifications:
RT 7-2020, 9-2020
Applicants with out-of-state Driver’s License must be able to obtain the required Colorado License within 30 days of hire.
The Fire Chief may establish an eligibility list of qualified candidates. Candidates that are placed on the eligibility list will be notified of such. Eligibility lists are valid for up to 6 months, however the Fire Chief reserves the right to re-test and establish a new list at any time.

Starting Salary: Salary range is $67,083.98 - $75,469.48 BOQ
