South Thurston Fire & EMS is seeking highly motivated candidates that are interested in being selected for one full-time Firefighter/EMT position. Eligible candidates will be placed on an eligibility list for a period of 1 year with the option to extend. Applicants must be self-motivated and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision. The prospective candidates will be evaluated based on many aspects including education, training, physician’s examination, written test, and interview. Starting Salary is $50,000 - $55,433.57 depending on experience. Benefits include an employee benefit package (employee only) and LEOFF II retirement. Union contract negotiation will take place June 2021.
