The City of Gearhart seeks a talented Fire Chief to lead the Fire Department and oversee activities and operations. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent judgment, and the ability to lead, motivate, influence, and guide staff and residents are attributes of the right fit.
This position will develop and implement policy and procedures, plan long-range strategies and programs to provide appropriate levels of fire education, public education, and emergency medical and firefighting services to the City. The Fire Chief reports to the City Administrator and is an integral member of the City's leadership.
