The Snohomish County Airport (Paine Field) Fire Department in Everett, WA is currently establishing an Entry-Level Firefighter hiring list
Base Salary: $72,500.52 - $94,148.40 plus benefits
Candidates must apply through the governmentjobs.com /careers/Snohomish website. Application period closes at 11:59 p.m. June 11, 2021. Successful candidates will pass in-person skill assessments with score of 75%+ to qualify for oral board interview. Selection will be made based on highest passing score of combined assessment centers and interview. All other candidates with a passing score will be added to a hiring list valid up to 12 months.
Must be 18 yrs. of age; valid CPAT; EMT certification; 1-yr professional firefighter OR 2-yrs volunteer/part-paid firefighter OR 3-yrs military ARFF firefighter OR combination of required skills/knowledge/ability. Must pass background check as required by TSA and post-offer medical exam.
All candidates must take the FireTEAM, exam through National Testing Network (NTN) by June 9, 2021 and complete the Personal History Questionnaire (PHQ) and the Public Safety Self-Assessment (PSSA).
