Position Objectives:
The Fire Lieutenant is responsible for the administration and supervision of a fire company for fire suppression, hazardous material response, rescue operations, and emergency medical services. In the absence of senior company officer (Chief or Captain), the Fire Lieutenant acts as Incident Commander and assumes the duties as officer in charge if first on scene of emergency.
