The Yuba City Fire Department Administrative Team is comprised of two Division Chief positions, Operations and Training/Risk Reduction (vacant). The Division Chief, Training/Risk Reduction, will have areas of responsibilities in five categories within the Department. These would include but are not limited to Training, Community Risk Reduction, Administration, Fire Prevention, and Operations. A strong knowledge base in training development and curriculum, and/or experience in risk reduction or emergency preparedness is highly desirable. The ideal candidate must be able to communicate effectively with the Community, City and Fire Department Staff, and be flexible in filling needs within the Department.
