Firefighter/Paramedic Recruitment
The Position:
Sunriver Fire Department is recruiting for the position of entry or lateral level firefighter/paramedic. This position is a full-time 56-hour work week schedule.
Sunriver Fire Department:
Sunriver Fire Department is a full-service fire department that provides advanced life support ambulance service, structural and wildland fire suppression services to the resort community of Sunriver and an Ambulance Service Area of 330 sq. Miles.
Minimum Qualifications (Entry Level):
· Possession of Oregon Paramedic License at time of application
· Possession of NFPA Firefighter 1 Certification or equivalent
· Current ACLS, CPR, and PALS certificates
· NFPA Driver Operator
· Hazardous Materials - Operations Level
· Possession of a valid Oregon Driver’s License and an insurable driving record
· High School Diploma or GED
Lateral Qualifications:
· Minimum of three (3) years a full-time career firefighter/paramedic
· NFPA Firefighter 2 Certification
· NWCG Firefighter Type-2
· NIMS 100, 200, 700 & 800 Certification
Compensation and Benefits:
· Salary $5,123.45 - $6,226.95 (entry)
· Salary $5,647.55 - $6,226.95 (lateral)
· Family medical, dental, vision, health savings account, and life insurance
· OR-PERS (The District does not participate in Social Security)
· Education and Longevity incentives
