THE POSITION
The Deputy Chief of Operations/Training (DCO), an exempt non-bargaining position, will work under the direction of the Fire Chief and function as
the Fire District’s second in command. This position will work four ten-hour days per week, performing a variety of technical, administrative, supervisory,
and hands-on work in planning, organizing, training, fire prevention, fire suppression, and emergency medical services. This position has a high potential for future advancement within the Fire District’s succession plan.
