Full Time Firefighter/EMT
Kittitas County Fire District 7 is seeking highly motivated candidates that are interested in being selected for a full time Firefighter/EMT hiring list. Applicants must be self-motivated and able to work efficiently. Thanks to a successful levy lid lift the District is looking to hire for staffing at an additional station on the east end of our District in the next year. The position will provide 24/7 coverage for fire and emergency medical service emergencies. The prospective candidate will be evaluated based on many aspects to include; education, training, physician’s examination, written test, assessment lab and Chief’s interview. Successful candidates must produce a current Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) prior to an offer of employment. The District will maintain an eligibility list for a period of 2 years with the option to extend. Testing deadline for this hiring list will be 4pm on September 9th, 2022.
