OSFM is excited to announce the opportunity to apply for manager of the Emergency Response Unit (ERU).  This unit’s goal is to identify, prioritize, define, and ultimately reduce the fire risk to Oregon communities.  The Emergency Response Unit (ERU) coordinates and manages Oregon’s Fire Mutual Aid System (OFMAS) in support of the structural fire service. Oregon’s fire service consists of over 300 fire agencies and more than 11,000 firefighters responding from over 800 fire stations across Oregon. The ERU also includes the Agency Operations Center and three Type 2 Incident Management Teams.
