• Graduation from High School or equivalent, with one (1) year of high school level course work in chemistry, algebra or other physical science.
• Valid Washington Driver’s License
• Successful completion of Emergency Vehicle Accident Prevention training, achievement of State of Washington certification and continued maintenance.
• Successful achievement of Certification as a State of Washington Emergency Medical Technician and its continued maintenance.

• Possession of nationally registered paramedic certification
• Completion of one full year of full time paid uniformed experience with successful completion of the agency’s training year's program qualifies for lateral entry application
