Whatcom County Fire District #1 is currently building an ongoing eligibility list for the position of Experienced Firefighter/EMT. Anticipated hiring of 1 full time and 7 part time positions. The list will be retained for 1 year.

A signed, completed Whatcom County Fire District # 1 employment application form and responses to the Qualifications Brief must be received no later than 5:00 p.m., Monday, October 31, 2022, via email or at the address below. Applications received after the filing deadline, or without the Qualifications Brief, will not be considered. Employment application packets are available at the WCFD #1 Administrative Office 101 E. Main St. Everson, WA 98247.
