Our agency serves an estimated population of 28,500 people. In 2021 Dallas Fire responded to 560 fire related incidents and EMS responded to 4,237 medical incidents.
The City of Dallas Oregon is hiring a Fire & EMS Captain. This position is an IAFF represented career position working 48/96-hour shifts on rotation. The City of Dallas has enjoyed a rich history of an all-volunteer fire department for over a century. As our organization enters the combination fire department status, this position is pivotal in the success of our organization’s change by way of working for and with our volunteer firefighters and support services.
