Single Role Paramedics function as lead medic on an ambulance and provides field training oversight to other paramedics or EMT’s. This position is responsible for performing skilled advanced life support medical care, including the pre-hospital care, assessment, preparation and transportation of sick and/or injured patients. The Single Role Paramedic (ALS) performs all work consistent with the EMT-Paramedic certification level as specified by established State of Oregon Scope of Practice.
