Job Description
The City of Manistee, MI is seeking experienced applicants for the position of Fire Chief. The Manistee City Fire Department is staffed by a Fire Chief, three Shift Captains and four firefighters. The Chief is responsible for the overall performance of the Manistee City Fire Department and the fire protection, medical emergency response and transport, and related emergency services for over 6,200 residents. Specific responsibilities include the administration, planning, organizing, staffing, training, direction, supervision, and management of seven full-time staff and overall control of the Department. This is a full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package; salary will be commensurate with experience within the range of $77,710.17 -$96,231.17.
