Position Description Jefferson County Fire & EMS is accepting applications for positions of Firefighter/ Paramedic and Firefighter/EMT. Applications will be accepted through June 30th, 2023. This will be a full-time 56/hr. a week position working a 48/96 schedule. The salary range for each position is Firefighter/EMT $56,924.95 - $67,411.13 and Firefighter/Paramedic $68,160.14 - $78,646.31 plus benefits. Applicants must be able to perform all duties related to firefighting and Emergency Medical Services. These duties include the protection of life and property, by performing firefighting, emergency aid, hazardous materials, and fire prevention duties. Applicants must be able to drive and operate fire apparatus medic units and various equipment. All applicants must possess a current Oregon or NREMT or Paramedic certification at the time of application.
