In December of 2020, Mark Niemeyer became Chief of the Boise Fire Department. In this episode, we talk with him about his leadership philosophy and how he approached starting this new role. Chief Niemeyer has been in the fire service for 29 years. During his tenure, he has held leadership roles for 17 years, and has been a fire chief for 12. He’s proud to say the fire service is evolving and so are its leaders.
