The IAFC and its Fire & Life Safety section seek your participation in an important initiative to support smoke alarm education and safety programs. Your responses to this brief survey will be used in developing an online tool kit for fire chiefs, fire officials, and public fire educators to raise awareness within their departments and communities about the different types of residential smoke alarms, recommendations on where to place alarms based on different features, and how alarms react to normal conditions in the home and the early stages of fire development.

The survey should take no more than 5 minutes to complete and all responses will be kept confidential.
