Utilizing the "Firefighter Survival" from the Carroll P. Herring Fire and Emergency Training Center, the City of Denham Springs Fire Department and Livingston Parish Fire Protection District #5 members trained together. Firefighters were able to see how they would react in a survival situation when possibly trapped inside a burning structure and learned ways to escape from the same.
