3 injured after ambulance flips on its side in South Carolina

PHOTOS: A Horry County Fire Rescue ambulance flipped on its side after a crash in Myrtle Beach Monday afternoon, according to Master Cpl. Thomas Vest with the Myrtle Beach Police Dept. At 12:43 p.m., police said the northbound lanes of Robert M. Grissom Parkway and the westbound lanes of Mr. Joe White Avenue were closed to traffic. Officials said three people were being transported to the hospital with injuries, two of whom work for HCFR. There was no patient in the back of the ambulance during the crash, officials added. The Myrtle Beach Police Department is investigating.
