VIDEO: A first responder that tossed his cookies ended up helping a bakery go viral on social media. An apology in the form of a gag cake has drawn millions of eyes to a St. Albans sweets shop. Jacob Hernandez is a Charleston firefighter who took his annual physical agility test in March. "I get about halfway through the test after doing the Kyser test of evolution and I can feel it coming,” Hernandez recalled. The first responder admits his nerves got the better of him and he got sick on the course, but was able to finish. "There's a tradition here. After you pass your year test you buy steaks and desserts for everybody,” Hernandez said. That’s when he reached out to Lil’ Bit of Heaven Cupcakes. Owner Teri Blevins spoke with Eyewitness News about the conversation.
