PHOTOS: Recruits with the Ted Stevens International Airport Police and Fire Department participated in a live fire training this week. As the name of the department indicates, staff are fully trained as both sworn police officers and firefighters. Recruits with no law enforcement or firefighting experience undergo 14 months of training. "It doesn't matter where you come from, we look for good hardworking people who want to serve their community," said Senior Sgt. Darcey Perry, who conducts the fire training.
