No one was hurt when a RavnAir Connect flight operated by Hageland Aviation made an emergency landing in Fairbanks Sunday, according to Fairbanks International Airport Police and Fire. FAI Police and Fire says it was alerted just before noon that the PA 31 Piper Navajo was having difficulty lowering the right main landing gear. The pilot made several low fly-bys before landing without the gear, according to FAI. Both FAI and the University Fire Department were on hand when the airplane landed. FAI says there was minimal damage to the plane and none of the passengers reported injuries. The flight was on its way to Galena.
