State Troopers recovered remains from a house fire in Tanana Thrusday evening.
About an hour into fighting the fire - which kept the Tanana fire department on scene all night - human remains were discovered inside the structure.
According to the trooper dispatch, the owner of the home was unaccounted for at the time of the fire, so it is believed that the remains is the homeowner.
On Friday, A Fire Marshall conducted an investigation and determined that the homeowner had been seen by members of the community about 2 hours prior to the fire, and was the only individual known to reside there.
The investigation further revealed that the area of origin was an area surrounding a woodstove.
Troopers say no foul play is currently suspected.
