Crews worked overnight to contain a scrapyard fire in Munford. Fire officials say multiple cars caught fire at Munford Recycling on Hwy 21 around 10:30 p.m. The flames were initially too much and several fire departments were called to the area to assist. At one point, the fire grew so large it forced the closure of Hwy 21. Firefighters are working to find out how those cars caught fire.
