VIDEO: A 55-year-old woman is dead after an overnight house fire in Birmingham. Birmingham firefighters responded to the 7900 block of Division Avenue around midnight and arrived to find a house on fire. The woman was rescued from the home and taken to the hospital, where she died. Firefighters believe food on the stove sparked the blaze. The victim's name hasn't been released.
