VIDEO: The Dothan Fire Department has a new addition to the fleet. A brand new fire truck arrived Monday morning from northern Alabama. It comes with advanced life support which the paramedics use to save lives. It costs more than a half-million dollars. Firefighters will be installing this new emergency medical equipment over the next week or so. "Probably this service truck will see a service life of about 20 years in the city of Dothan. It'll spend 12-15 years front line, and what I mean by that is running out of your local firehouses. At that time, it'll be rotated to a local reserve status." There are nine fire stations in Dothan and around a dozen fire trucks ready to roll throughout the city.
