VIDEO/PHOTOS: A Houston County home that caught on fire Monday night has reignited again.
WDHN News is at the scene of the fire, and while gathering footage, the fire started again.
Houston County officials received a call of a possible house fire in the 400 block of Charles Road in the Pansey community around 5:45 p.m. on Monday. After multiple fire units from the county responded, they found the house fully engulfed in flames, according to Houston County EMA Director Chris Judah. Two to three people that were in the home evacuated after the fire began and were uninjured.
Judah says after an initial investigation, lightning became the leading theory on the cause of the fire. It took two hours for the crews to extinguish the fire.
