Two fires at bingo halls in Center Point are under investigation. The first incident happened at 5127 Pinson Valley Pkwy on Tuesday morning and the other incident happened Wednesday morning at 4149 Pinson Blvd. Both fires happened around 5 a.m.
In both cases, the fires started in the doorway while both places were closed and unoccupied. The two bingo halls are less than two miles away from each other.
Both incidents are currently under investigation. Center Point Fire District could not comment on if arson is a possibility or if the two fires are connected.
"It's under investigation. We are working on getting to the bottom of both of these. They are two separate incidents, we treat fires, every fire is different and we treat both of them as separate incidents," said Captain Chris Horn of Center Point Fire District.
