New ambulances and EMS stations are on their way to Benton County.
Northwest Health showcased the new installations in both Gentry and Gravette on Monday.
Northwest Health EMS began providing 911 emergency services for the west side of Benton County on Jan. 1, following a contract agreement.
The agreement placed three advanced life support ambulances in the west side of Benton County and placed an ambulance in both Gentry and Gravette.
In addition to increased ground ambulance support, Northwest Health provides air medical services through Air Evac, its air medical partner.
"It just provides quicker patient care," said Gentry Fire Chief Vester Cripps.
