Fayetteville Fire Tackle Two Fires; No Injuries

The Fayetteville Fire Department was called to two fires at nearly the same time on Saturday, March 16. A two-acre grass fire on Mayes Drive was active when fire crews arrived, said Fire Chief Willie Watts. Several fire crews helped extinguish it and no structures were involved. Crews from Wheeler, Wedington, and Tontitown responded ... in an effort to ensure the fire didn't get out of control. The fire at 4057 Eastpoint was out when fire crews arrived, according to Chief Watts.
