Jonesboro police shut down Johnson Avenue Tuesday morning as firefighters battled an apartment fire.
The fire, which was located in the 100-block of Rogers Street, was reported shortly after 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Jeff Presley, director of Jonesboro and Craighead County E911, told Region 8 News police closed the area of Johnson Avenue so firefighters could run lines.
No injuries were reported.
