Fire damaged a house at 219 N. Cordelia in Magnolia about 5:45 p.m. Monday. Magnolia Fire Department personnel arrived to find smoke billowing from the attic and eaves of the house owned by Christopher and Meleah Critton. No one was in the house at the time of the fire. Fire Chief Greg Pinner said Monday that the cause of the fire was undetermined. Two fire trucks were dispatched but only a single hose from one pumper was needed to extinguish the blaze. A vent fan was used to blow smoke from the house.
