Three people were rescued after their car went into a canal near 12 Street and Orangewood Avenue Wednesday night, according to firefighters. Fire crews arrived on scene to find two Phoenix police officers trying to rescue the car's driver from the canal. Firefighters then rescued all three people from the canal without any injuries. The exact cause of the crash is under investigation, crews said.
